Asterra was born from a foundation of rigorous technological innovation and extreme field experience. Our team brings together years of expertise in building tech ventures in Beijing, successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver integrated hardware and software products.
Parallel to our work in the tech industry, our background is heavily rooted in the extreme outdoors—combining high-altitude mountaineering with professional astrophotography. With expedition experience spanning over 40 countries and reaching elevations above 7,500 meters, our visual work has been recognized by platforms like Visual China and Getty Images.
Operating in these demanding environments requires the exact same disciplines as building successful tech products. It has shaped our core approach: prioritizing absolute reliability, operational efficiency, and clear execution above all else.
